I’m Nick Rowe; a potter, landscape gardener and lover of nature. A long time ago I was drawn to start pottery, beginning with courses and different styles of throwing, before I found specialism in hand-crafted bonsai pots. After our three children moved out of our family home I created a studio, enjoying the calm and connection of working with clay and how to compliment the bonsai in my own collection. 

 

After sharing my work in my first show and meeting people who connected with what I was making, I felt encouraged to open up more commissions and share my pottery more widely. What you’ll see on this site is a collection of one-of-a-kind pieces. I often return to certain glazes, clays, and textures that have become part of my regular practice, but no two pots are ever the same. I hope you find something here that speaks to you.
